• Measurement cross section: 2,50 m x 1,80 m, velocity up to 30 m/s

Measurement Technology:

• Simultaneous data acquisition on up to 196 pressure sensors
• Force measurement with a 6-component force balances
• Velocity measurements using e.g. Irvine-Probes
• Tracergas measurement (emission / immission)
• Simulation of thermal induced flow

Model making:

• Fully equipped model-building workshop
• Utilization of modern techniques, e.g. Stereolithographie

We are using the wind tunnel of our Co-operation partner, the Institute of Steel Structures and Light Weight Construction at the RWTH Aachen.
